Cheryl Ringuette Ciamarra will be the featured speaker on “Building a Culture of Life” at the Cathedral of Christ the King Circle of Life Speaker Series on Friday, Jan. 15, at 7:15 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

Ciamarra, who resides in Birmingham, Ala., has worked on behalf of human life since 1990. She founded “Shower of Blessings” to connect women who had refused to abort with church groups to obtain help. As the legislative director for Alabama Citizens for Life, she assisted in the passage of a bipartisan “Women’s Right to Know” law in Alabama.

In addition to her work with the legislature, she currently serves as Alabama Citizens for Life board director to the National Right to Life Committee. As a missionary of the Gospel of Life she shares her personal testimony with women’s groups, churches, rallies and fundraising events.

A host of Focus on Life Radio, she has interviewed over 70 leaders and authorities on life issues.

Sponsored by the Cathedral’s Respect Life Committee, the event will be held in Kenny Hall, and light refreshments will be served prior to the lecture.
