UGA Musicians To Perform At Monastery

The groups will perform Handel’s “Dixit Dominus,” a piece for chamber choir, strings and continuo, which is made up of several movements ranging from solo arias to full choruses. Haydn’s “Harmoniemesse,” also known as the “Wind-Band” Mass for its use of woodwinds and brass, will be performed as well.

Performing at the concert will be the University of Georgia Concert Choir, Collegium Musicum, University Chorus and the Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Mitos Andaya.
