St. Pius added another firstquarter score when White threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to senior wide receiver Alden Homrich. Running back Cole Moon added the third St. Pius touchdown of the half on a 3-yard run, Grady got on the board with 1:47 remaining in the second quarter, and St. Pius took a 21-7 lead into the locker room at halftime.
St. Pius scored its two second-half touchdowns on runs by Moon and George Kennedy to seal the deal and kicker Joey Gargiulo added a field goal with 3:59 left in the game for good measure. Grady scored six more points in the second half, but the St. Pius defense, led by safety Alex Avant, linebacker Robert Lucisano, defensive end Andrew Butler and others, held Grady to 118 offensive yards.
