Archdiocese To Host Faith & Public Policy Workshop

 A Faith & Public Policy Workshop, sponsored by the Archdiocese of Atlanta, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25, in the parish hall of All Saints Church.

Open to all, the workshop will address several topics, including a presentation of seven key themes of Catholic social teaching, an overview of the Georgia Catholic Conference after the presidential election, key policy positions for the 2009 Georgia legislative session and more.

The Faith & Public Policy Workshop, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., is being presented by Frank Mulcahy, executive director of the Georgia Catholic Conference, Mary Boyert, director of the archdiocesan Pro-Life Office, Susan Sullivan, director of Parish & Social Justice Ministries, and Pat Chivers, communications director for the archdiocese.

Registration for the event is required. Participants are asked to pay a $10 materials fee. All Saints Church is located at 2443 Mount Vernon Road, Dunwoody.
