Priest Assignments

Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory has announced the following changes in priest assignments.

Archbishop Gregory has confirmed the recommendation of Claretian Missionaries Father Eddie DeLeon, provincial superior of the Claretian Missionaries Eastern Province, U.S.A., and has assigned Father John Molyneux, CMF, as superior and parochial vicar at Corpus Christi Church, Stone Mountain, effective Sept. 10.

Archbishop Gregory has confirmed the recommendation of Legionary of Christ Father Scott Reilly, territorial director of the Legionaries of Christ, and has assigned Father Juan Guerra, LC, and Father Timothy Moran, LC, to assist with the promotion and spiritual formation of the Legion and Regnum Christi members, effective Sept. 11. For canonical status, Father Guerra and Father Moran have been appointed as parochial vicars at Holy Spirit Church, Atlanta.

Father Hieu Minh Ha, parochial vicar at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Atlanta, has been assigned as parochial vicar at St. Benedict Church, Duluth, effective Sept. 19.

Father Stephen Lyness, who is part-time chaplain at Georgia State University, Atlanta, has also been assigned as parochial vicar at Mary Our Queen Church, Norcross, effective Sept. 19.

Father Joseph Peek, parochial vicar at Mary Our Queen Church, Norcross, has been named parochial vicar in-residence at St. Patrick Church, Norcross, effective Sept. 19.
