Christ The King School Holds ‘Carnivale’Auction

Published January 25, 2007

Christ the King School’s Parent Volunteer Association auction committee is busily preparing for the school’s 12th annual auction. This year’s auction theme is Carnivale, and the event will be held Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Hellenic Center on Clairmont Road.

This fundraiser serves as the “social event of the year,” when the CKS community comes together to celebrate and support Christ the King School.

A buffet dinner and silent auction will be held from 6-9 p.m., with the live auction following. Amid a Mardi Gras atmosphere, parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty and staff, and friends of CKS can bid on items such as artwork, vacations, jewelry, restaurant gift certificates, sports memorabilia, and many other items in both the silent and live auctions. Carole Parks, a CKS alumnus and owner of Carole Parks Catering, will provide the buffet dinner, and dancing to a New Orleans style band will complete the evening.
