Our Lady of Mercy High School hosted an enthusiastic group of young athletes with its first middle school volleyball tournament on Saturday, Sept. 16. Participating schools included St. John the Evangelist School, Hapeville, St. Peter Claver Regional School, Decatur, and Our Lady of Victory School, Tyrone.

The tournament, which is named “The Archbishop’s Cup,” was run by the OLM varsity volleyball team.

After some spirited and intense competition during the matches, Our Lady of Victory took home the first-place trophy with St. John’s coming in second.
