St. Catherine Of Siena School Wins Fourth-Grade Battle Of Books

St. Catherine of Siena School, Kennesaw, won the fourth-grade level competition in the Battle of the Books archdiocesan championship held May 4 at Christ the King School.

St. Catherine of Siena School participated in the competition with children in third-grade through sixth-grade levels. St. Catherine of Siena participants included Garrett Blinkhorn, Nick Casaburri, Danielle Chandler, Katherine Crawford, Patrick Connolly, Michelle Daley, Megan Hill, Raquel Landry, Tonnie Lentz, Nicya Manocchio, Kayla McDaniel, Katherine Morley, Grace Murphy, Caroline Shippey and Bettina Salvaleon.

St. Catherine of Siena School currently serves students in kindergarten through sixth grade. With the addition of a grade level each year, the school will serve students in kindergarten through eighth grade by 2007. An SAIS-accredited school, St. Catherine of Siena School provides a comprehensive curriculum in mathematics, science, language arts, and social studies, as well as religion, foreign language, computer technology, music, art and physical education.
