Area Catholic Schools Plan Graduations

Blessed Trinity High School

ROSWELL—The Blessed Trinity graduation for the class of 2006 will be held on Saturday, May 20, at 2 p.m. in the school’s gymnasium.

The class of 2006 is comprised of 193 seniors.

The valedictorian is Ryann Margaret Kopacka, daughter of Gary and Jeanne Kopacka, members of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Alpharetta. The salutatorian is Blair Michelle Lyons, daughter of William and Frances Lyons, who are parishioners at St. Ann Church, Marietta.

The Baccalaureate Mass will be held on Friday, May 19, at St. Brigid Church in Alpharetta at 7:30 p.m.

Blessed Trinity is located 11320 Woodstock Rd., Roswell.

Marist School

ATLANTA—The Marist School class of 2006 will graduate on Saturday, May 20, at 2 p.m. in a ceremony held in the school’s Centennial Center.

There are 185 seniors graduating, including valedictorian Kathryn Marklein, daughter of Dick and Melinda Marklein, members of All Saints Church, Atlanta, and salutatorian Jack Bourbonnais, son of John and Barbara Bourbonnais, who are parishioners at Holy Spirit Church, Atlanta.

The school will hold its Baccalaureate Mass on Friday, May 19, at 8 p.m. at the school.

Marist School is located at 3790 Ashford Dunwoody Rd., Atlanta.

Our Lady Of Mercy High School

FAIRBURN—Our Lady of Mercy High School will hold its graduation ceremony and Baccalaureate Mass on Friday, May 26, at 6 p.m. at the school.

Seventy-three seniors will graduate.

The valedictorian for the class of 2006 is Brett Kyle Bartels, son of Kyle and Diane Bartels, who are members of Holy Trinity Church, Peachtree City. The salutatorian is Jo Anne T. Lonzanida, daughter of James and Ana James Morgan, parishioners at St. Philip Benizi Church, Jonesboro.

Our Lady of Mercy is located at 861 Highway 279 in Fairburn.

St. Pius X High School

ATLANTA—St. Pius X High School will graduate 224 seniors on Saturday, May 20, at Symphony Hall at 10 a.m.

The valedictorian for the class of 2006 is Katherine Anne Petti, daughter of Dana and Luanna Petti, who are parishioners at Holy Cross Church, Atlanta.

The salutatorian is Christopher Tai Lynch, son of Tai and Kimberly Lynch, parishioners at St. Benedict Church, Duluth.

St. Pius will have its Baccalaureate Mass at St. Brigid Church in Alpharetta on Thursday, May 18, at 7:30 p.m.

The school is located at 2674 Johnson Rd., NE, Atlanta.
