Track Meet Honors Archbishop, Fosters Service

Students from four local Catholic high schools gathered at Blessed Trinity High School for the first Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory Invitational Track Meet March 14.

Proceeds from the event, which drew almost 300 athletes from Blessed Trinity, Roswell, Marist School and St. Pius X High School, Atlanta, and Our Lady of Mercy High School, Fairburn, benefited the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Atlanta, sponsor of the event. Athletes and spectators donated more than 500 cans of food to the Society’s food pantry.

The St. Pius X team won the award as track meet champion, while the top male athlete was Antonio McKay from St. Pius, and the top female athlete was Raven Moore from Our Lady of Mercy.
