Jesus’ Suffering Solemnly Recalled In Cartersville

On Good Friday, April 14, members of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Cartersville reenact the Stations of the Cross on a hillside overlooking the church and recall Jesus’ Passion and death. Father Dan Stack, pastor, said this Good Friday living Stations is a tradition for the past five years at the parish, organized by the Hispanic youth but involving the entire parish. Hundreds come to remember the Lord’s suffering and death in this recreation of the entire Passion. This year Jesus was portrayed by Cayetano Garcia. Sam Braid, 6, was the youngest soldier.
