Priests Invited To Concelebrate All Souls Day Mass With Archbishop

Published October 20, 2005

All priests of the archdiocese are warmly invited to join Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory on All Souls Day, Nov. 2, at 10:30 a.m. to concelebrate the annual All Souls Day Mass offered in the Priests Section of Arlington Memorial Park.

The Mass will be followed by a luncheon for all the priests hosted by the priests of St. Jude the Apostle Church.

This annual Mass is an opportunity for the priests of the archdiocese to remember the dedicated work and the generous lives of service of priests who served here in previous years and to acknowledge the debt that the church owes to them for the solid foundation of faith that they laid. All priests are urged to gather as the presbyterate of Atlanta to pray together and celebrate the Eucharist for the happy repose of their souls.

The luncheon hosted by St. Jude Church at the conclusion of the Mass will be a wonderful occasion to socialize with brother priests and enjoy one another’s company. Those who would like to attend the luncheon are asked to RSVP to Trish Johnston at St. Jude Church at (678) 252-5667.

St. Jude is located at 7171 Glenridge Drive, NE. Arlington Memorial Park is located at 201 Mount Vernon Highway.
