Hispanic Program Launched At Southern Catholic

Southern Catholic College, a regional private Catholic college opening on Sept. 8, recently announced the formal launch of its Hispanic Outreach program with the appointment of Ricardo Vazquez as director of Hispanic Services.

As part of the Hispanic Outreach program, Vazquez is responsible for promoting the college to prospective Hispanic students, as well as marketing and fund-raising activities in the Southeast and nationwide.

Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, Vazquez brings more than 20 years of academic and multi-national business management experience to the college.

Prior to joining Southern Catholic, Vazquez served in a variety of business and information technology management roles with Hewlett-Packard Company in Alpharetta and Mexico, as well as Procter & Gamble and New Zealand Milk, both while he was based in Mexico.

Vazquez graduated from the Universidad La Salle in Mexico City with a major in cybernetics and computer science engineering.

Southern Catholic College in Dawsonville is a private, co-educational liberal arts college dedicated to preparing moral and ethical leaders.
