Apologetics Series To Begin At Christ The King

Published June 23, 2005

The Cathedral of Christ the King will offer the Reason to Believe Apologetics series beginning on Friday, July 8, at 7 p.m. This six-week series of seminars will be held on Fridays—July 8, 15, 22, 29 and Aug. 5 and 12.

All are invited to come and hear new speakers address current issues that concern Catholics and gain insights into how to handle the challenge to defend the faith. Topics for the series include: “Called to Lead, Called to Follow,” “Married to the Church,” “Kingdom of Heaven—Fact or Fiction?,” “What is Truth?,” “What Came First—the Church or the Bible?” and “Faith Works!”

Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory will be one of the featured speakers this year. Topics and speakers are subject to change.

Mass begins at 6:15 p.m. in the parish hall, and the sessions begin at 7 p.m. Nursery will be provided upon request. There is no cost for the program, but a free will offering will be taken.
