Apostolate Presents Lenten Reflection

The Apostolate for Family Consecration will present the Year of the Eucharist Lenten Reflection, featuring its co-founder and president Jerome Coniker, at three locations in the archdiocese.

Coniker, a consultant for the Pontifical Council for the Family and also president and co-founder of Familyland Television Network, will speak on the second night of each two-day reflection, offering insights on the Year of the Eucharist and Pope John Paul II’s formula for protecting families. The first night will feature the multimedia presentation “Message of Hope.” The reflection will be held on Tuesday, March 8, at 7 p.m. and Wednesday, March 9, with a family hour at 6 p.m., and Mass followed by a talk at 7 p.m. at St. Michael Church, Gainesville. On Wednesday, March 9, Coniker will speak at 7 p.m. at St. Patrick Church, Norcross. At that church on Thursday, March 10, there will be a 7 p.m. Mass followed by a talk. On Friday, March 11, there will be a 7 p.m. Stations of the Cross followed by a talk at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Dallas.

Members of the Apostolate work together to simultaneously sanctify family, neighborhood and parish life, utilizing the modern means of communication. The group is officially approved and recognized in the Catholic Church as a Private Association of Christ’s Faithful.
