Published February 10, 2005

Catholic women from the 32 parishes in the Northwest Deanery of the Atlanta Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women are invited to a meeting on Saturday, Feb. 12, at St. John Vianney Church, 1920 Skyview Drive.

The program will include updating bylaws and electing members to serve on the nominating committee for the AACCW and for the deanery. New officers for the deanery will be elected in May and new officers for the AACCW will be elected during the convention on Oct. 1.

There will also be discussion of the National Council of Catholic Women’s convention to be held in Atlanta on Sept. 15-18 and the AACCW convention to be held Oct. 1 at St. Joseph Church in Marietta.

Registration for the meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. The meeting will start at 10 a.m. and lunch will follow at 12:30 p.m.

Member parishes are urged to send at least one representative to the deanery meeting as it is critical to have a quorum of the deanery parishes. For information contact Marie Kwiatkowski, representative of the host parish, at (770) 439-7680 or Peggy Lynch, treasurer, at (770) 941-5204.
