Published February 10, 2005

Spring Hill College has announced that the course “Human Sexuality and Marriage” will be offered at its Atlanta extension site on six Saturdays beginning Feb. 26 and continuing on March 5 and 19 and April 2, 16 and 30. The course deals with the ethical dimensions of human sexual behavior and examines Christian marriage especially as interpreted in the Roman Catholic tradition. Class will be held at Holy Spirit Church, 4465 Northside Drive, NW, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be taught by Father Frederick Gunti, a senior member of Spring Hill’s theology department, who holds a doctorate in moral theology from the Catholic University of America.

Spring Hill College, the Jesuit College of the South, offers certificate and master’s degree programs in theology at the Atlanta extension site based at Holy Spirit Church. The programs in theological study offer a contemporary, ecumenical perspective in theology from the Catholic tradition aimed at the non-traditional student. For registration information, contact Ann Bailey at (404) 252-4513, ext. 228, or Spring Hill College at www.shc.edu.
