Retreat, Masses In Polish Planned For Lent, Easter

A Lenten Retreat in Polish will be held on Saturday-Thursday, March 13-18, at St. Marguerite d’Youville Church in Lawrenceville.

The retreat will be led by Father Marian Zalecki, SCh, from the Paulin Fathers, Koylestown, Pa., and the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa. It will be held during Mass on Saturday, March 13, at 7:30 p.m., on Sunday, March 14,j19

at 2 p.m. and on Monday-Thursday, March 15-18, at 8 p.m. at St. Marguerite d’Youville Church. The church is located at 85 Gloster Road, Lawrenceville.

Mass on Easter Sunday, April 11, will be celebrated in Polish at 2 p.m. at St. Marguerite’s. The traditional blessing of food will be available on Holy Saturday, April 10, at 10 a.m. at Mary Our Queen Church, 6260 The Corners Parkway, Norcross, and at 1 p.m. at St. Marguerite d’Youville Church. Persons are requested to leave food and “pisanki” on the altar steps. All are welcome. There will be no Mass in Polish on Holy Thursday or Good Friday.

Additionally, Father Stanislaw Drzal has resumed celebrating Mass in Polish every Sunday at 2 p.m. at St. Marguerite’s. When possible an additional Polish Mass is held on the first and second Sunday of the month at 4:30 p.m. at Mary Our Queen Church. There will be no Mass at 4:30 p.m. on March 14 and April 11.
