Catholic Social Services is sponsoring its annual Good Friday Urban Stations of the Cross Pilgrimage on April 9 beginning at the Georgia Capitol.

It will begin at 9 a.m. and end at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Crypt at 2 p.m. Pilgrims will walk to 14 sites in the city of Atlanta and reflect upon contemporary social issues, such as rights of workers, homelessness, pro-life issues, immigration and others. Participants will walk and remember the sufferings of Jesus on the way to Calvary and his suffering personified in the downtrodden of the world.

The ecumenical pilgrimage will begin at the Capitol, on the Washington Street side, between Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Mitchell Street.
