Sons of Atlanta: Record seminarian class reflects growing culture of vocations in archdiocese

Published August 6, 2026Twenty-six men in the Archdiocese of Atlanta applied to enter the seminary this year, and 20 were accepted, making it the largest incoming class in the archdiocese’s history. Vocations leaders say the milestone reflects years of work to strengthen priestly formation and build a culture of discernment.
