Taylor Warren, a farmer at Peachtree Farms for three years, showcases the potted plants grown from seeds. The farm has raised beds that grow plants like eggplant, okra and green beans along with a greenhouse for tomatoes. Currently, 15 farmers work there. Farm program growing crop of homes for those with disabilities
Peachtree Farm is fostering the independence of farmers, through job training and opportunities for independent living. The program recently broke ground on a housing project to address one of the challenges for parents who worry about where their adult children will live. Many area Catholics volunteer for the program to work alongside those with disabilities.
