Published March 9, 2006  | En Español

Holy Trinity Church will host its 4th annual “Día de la Familia” Health Fair on Saturday, March 18, from 8 a.m. until 12 noon. This event has grown from an attendance of 350 persons the first year to 1,200 persons in 2005 coming for diabetes, cholesterol, hearing, vision, dental, spinal column screenings, as well as breast and colorectal cancers. Last year HIV screening was added, as well as participation from different entities that provide the community with numerous resource services free of charge, including United Way of Atlanta, Medicaid, Peachtree City public library, and Project Head Start. The Colgate-Palmolive Dental Van will screen children as well as educate them on the proper way to maintain healthy dental hygiene. Many doctors, nurses and translators will be on hand to generously give of their time and talent. Clowns, door prizes and face painting will be part of the entertainment.

Those who wish to have blood screening should fast from food or drink. All services provided are completely free, and all are welcome to attend.

Holy Trinity is located at 101 Walt Banks Road in Peachtree City.
