The Lady Bobcats of Our Lady of Mercy lost on the road to Fayetteville’s Starr’s Mill High School 46-29, Jan 4. Mercy’s senior center Alexandria Miles led the team with 11 points in the loss. The following game the team rebounded from defeat and beat Eagles Landing Christian Academy at home 40-34. Senior forward Kelly Tolcher had 12 points for the Lady Bobcats. The victory puts the team’s overall record at 6-7 and 3-1 in the region. Mercy faces Atlanta schools WD Mohammed High School, Friday, Jan. 11, and the Atlanta International School, Saturday, Jan. 12.
