CATECHIST CERTIFICATION COURSE: Saturdays, Jan. 23-April 3; 9:30-11:30 a.m.; online sessions by Holy Spirit College; Atlanta. This basic catechist course equips beginning catechists with sufficient background knowledge and skills to begin teaching elementary and adolescent aged children. Topics of discussion include the spirituality of the catechist; overviews of scripture, of Catholic morality, of Church history, and of liturgy and the sacraments among others. Cost is $100.
