Solemn vows professed at Snellville monastery

SNELLVILLE—The community of the Monastery of the Visitation celebrated the solemn profession of vows of one of its members.

Sister Mary Grace Kotyuk made her solemn profession as one of the members of the cloistered community of Visitation sisters.

Bishop Joel M. Konzen, SM, presided at the ceremony. It took place on May 31.

The religious community began in 1610 by St. Francis de Sales and St. Jane Frances de Chantal. The Monastery of the Visitation was founded in 1954.
