The team next takes the field at the Class A-5A Boys State Lacrosse Championship, starting April 28.

The War Eagles of Marist led 6-3 at halftime. The team controlled the ball and  tempo of the game close to the Pace Academy Knights goal as they played at home at Hughes Spalding Stadium. Anson Soscia, a Marist freshman, struck first, getting the ball past the Pace goalie at the 9:38 mark.

Into the second half, however, the Knights and their sticks kept finding the net. The final score was 13-9. The Pace players had a run of six unanswered points to claim the victory.

Four Marist players had two goals each: Soscia, Andrew McLaughlin, John Cote and Charlie Miles.

Seniors on the Marist team played their last regular season game. The seniors on the team are Cote, Ryan Ooster, William Hudak, Ethan Carter and Wright Formisano.
