IHM students learn more about newest saint
Published October 6, 2016
ATLANTA—Students at Immaculate Heart of Mary School recently participated in special lessons focused on the new saint, St. Teresa of Kolkata.
To spur questions, middle schools prepared table tents for the cafeteria with facts about her life and quotes. During religion class, students watched movies and read books about St. Teresa’s life and experiences. Also, students wore blue ribbons as a reminder of her example to all. Holy cards were shared with students commemorating the new saint.
The school also encouraged its students and families to consider a donation to the Gift of Grace House, an Atlanta ministry of the Missionaries of Charity.
