Catholic, Jewish communities to sponsor event on tolerance

ATLANTA—The Archdiocese of Atlanta, together with the American Jewish Committee Atlanta, will hold a special evening on Thursday, Sept. 8, entitled “Repairing the World: Our Responsibility for Tolerance.”

The discussion will be held at The Temple in midtown Atlanta, 1589 Peachtree St., NE. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and a reception will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the discussion at 7 p.m.

Speakers will be Dr. Marie Friedmann Marquardt, scholar-in-residence at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology, and Dr. Paul Wolpe, director of Emory University’s Center for Ethics.

All are welcome to attend. This event is free, but registration is required.
