Blue Ridge parish to offer healing mission

BLUE RIDGE—St. Anthony Church will host Augustinian Father Albert MacPherson, of the Augustinian Healing Ministry, for a parish healing mission. The mission will take place from Sunday, Feb. 8, to Wednesday, Feb. 11. All are welcome to attend.

Father MacPherson began full-time healing ministry in 1983 after 14 years’ experience in spiritual renewal work, including 10 years of pastoral experience in parishes in Ontario, New York and Florida. He is also a member of the Association of Christian Therapists.

For over 30 years, Father MacPherson has ministered in the United States, Canada, South America, Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean Islands. Thousands have been spiritually, psychologically and physically helped through his healing ministry.

Father MacPherson will preach at the weekend Masses at St. Anthony on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 4 p.m. and on Sunday, Feb. 8, at 11 a.m.

The mission will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 8, with prayer and supplication. On Monday, Feb. 9, Father MacPherson will celebrate Mass at 7 p.m., followed by the sacrament of reconciliation. On Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 10 and 11, Father Macpherson will celebrate Mass at 7 p.m., following with a prayer service for healing.
