Upcoming Shalom Festival now free to attend

LAWRENCEVILLE—Organizers of the Shalom Festival 2014 have announced that the event will be free of charge.

“By the grace of God, the Atlanta Shalom Festival has been made a free event,” said festival coordinator Jose Nedumpurath.

The festival, one of 17 nationwide sponsored by Shalom Ministry of USA and Shalom World Television, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event take place at Mountain View High School, 2351 Sunny Hill Road in Lawrenceville.

Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory will be principal celebrant of the opening Mass, which will begin at 9 a.m.

The charismatic event includes music, praise and worship, and presentations by Father Glenn Sudano, a founding member of the Community of Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, and Dr. Mark Nimo, a worldwide evangelist.

Youth groups are welcome and encouraged to attend. Lunches will be available for purchase.
