ATLANTA— The color white, denoting the traditional garb worn by medical professionals and symbolizing the dedicated work of those in patient care, gives name to the archdiocesan White Mass, to be held for the first time on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m.
The Mass, to be held at the Cathedral of Christ the King, Atlanta, will be celebrated by Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory and the priests of the archdiocese, in recognition of the dedicated work of Catholic health care professionals.
All Catholic physicians and those directly involved in patient care are invited to attend. A dessert reception in Kenny Hall will follow the Mass.
