The St. Thomas More sixth-grade girls basketball team was crowned champion of the sixth annual Sam Robb Memorial Holiday Classic Basketball Tournament, which was held Dec. 27-29.
The team raised over $800 for pediatric cancer research. Of that money, $350 was raised prior to the tournament during a cookie swap fundraiser at the home of one of the team’s players, Loren Marie House. The money was presented to the Robb family following the championship game.
