Our Lady of Victory School, in Tyrone, announced the success of its National Junior Beta Club.

The club placed “at the top” at the state Beta Club convention held in Macon. The school competed with 184 schools statewide and earned 10th place in the “Tower of Power” competition, fifth in cross-stitch, fifth in woodworking, third in language arts, and second in sketching with color pen, pencil, and ink.

The club members earned first place in the poster competition. The poster competition required contestants to create a poster in just one hour after being assigned a theme.
