Ricky Turner, Blessed Trinity High School athletic director, received the Georgia Athletic Director of the Year Award from the Georgia Athletic Directors Association during its annual conference in Savannah March 21. Jeff Beggs, GADA president, made the presentation.

Turner was also named the Class 6-AA Region Athletic Director of the Year.

“With so many great ADs in Georgia who I respect, to be the one receiving this year’s award is truly an honor,” said Turner. “This award is a reflection of the hard work and dedication that our coaches, students and parents put into the school’s athletic program. As I stood to receive the award, I thought how far we have come as a community in the past 11 years. I cannot wait to see what we all accomplish in the future.”
