Series Offers Speakers, Fellowship For Young Adults

The archdiocesan Young Adult Ministry is sponsoring another season of Theology on Tap for single and married adults ages 18-40. The series will be held on Wednesday nights in July and September.
On each evening of the program, gathering for dinner and drinks begins at 7 p.m., the program starts at 7:30 p.m., and a social immediately follows at 9 p.m. There is a $3 cover each night. No registration is required.
At Five Seasons Brewing in The Prado Shopping Center, 5600 Roswell Road, Atlanta, the programs are: July 6, Father Gregory Hartmayer of St. Philip Benizi Church, Jonesboro, will give the talk “In the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit”; July 13, Dr. Kelly Bowring of Southern Catholic College will speak on “Loving What Jesus Loves: Ask His Mother!”; July 20, Father J. of St. Petersburg, Fla., will talk about “Seeking Faith in a Blurry World”; and July 27, Brenda Sharman, former Miss Georgia USA, will speak on “The Beauty of Virtue.”
At the Three Dollar Café in Buckhead, 3002 Peachtree Road, NW, Atlanta, the programs are: Sept. 7, Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory will speak on a topic to be determined; Sept. 14, Katrina Zeno of Women of the Third Millennium will give a talk entitled “An Overview of Pope John Paul II’s Theology of the Body”; Sept. 21, Deacon Ralph Poyo of Raleigh, N.C., will present a talk on “Salvation Is Free; Discipleship Costs Everything”; and Sept. 28, Righteous B (a.k.a. Bob Lesnefksy), an award-winning Christian rapper, will talk on “Pursuing Passion: Living Radically for Christ.”
