  On Oct. 22, Archbishop Gregory J. Hartmayer, OFM Conv., celebrated the elevation Mass marking the canonical establishment of St. John Paul II Mission in Gainesville as a parish. The date was especially meaningful as it was the feast day of St. John Paul II.
