Some 180 families in Cobb County celebrated Thanksgiving Day thanks to the efforts of parishioners at St. Joseph Church, Marietta.

The parish’s St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Knights of Columbus Council 4599 distributed the Thanksgiving food baskets, with turkeys, to local Cobb County families in need.

This is annual event from the parish to the community. Contributions from the church parishioners, SVdP and the Knights paid for the gifts of food that allowed the families to enjoy a turkey dinner.
