ATLANTA—“Women of Faith Showing Mercy” is the theme for the Atlanta Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women’s 60th anniversary convention to be held Friday to Sunday, September 16-18, at the Atlanta Marriott Northwest at Galleria, Atlanta. All women of the archdiocese are invited to attend.

The organization sends the message that now is the time for the women of the archdiocese to come together to pray, to challenge their minds and hearts, to grow in their faith and to share God’s love by answering his call to serve his church, their families and their communities. The convention also offers an opportunity to greet old friends and meet new ones.

Registration starts on Friday, Sept. 16, at 2:30 p.m. The convention begins with a Mass of celebration at 7 p.m., followed by a reception.

The recitation of the rosary at 7:15 a.m. will begin the activities for Saturday, Sept. 17.

A video presentation on the history of AACCW will be shown at the Saturday luncheon.

The district meetings will be at 3:45 p.m. followed by adoration from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The banquet begins at 7:30 p.m.
