CTK Teacher Retires
Published May 18, 2006
Kay Guinn, a long-time teacher at Christ the King School, Atlanta, will be honored at a reception at the parish center at the Cathedral of Christ the King School on Tuesday, May 30, at 7 p.m. Guinn, who is retiring, has taught at the school for 25 years.
Friends and former students and their families are invited to attend the reception.
Before hiring Guinn, Sister Jean Liston, the school’s former principal, asked if she could promise to be with the school for more than one year—Guinn has certainly kept her promise. She has been a faithful and faith-filled member of the school and parish community for the past 25 of her 35 years as an educator.
Guinn and her husband Bob have been members at CTK since 1971, along with their daughters Kristen, Kara and Kelly.
