St. Peter Chanel Church will host its eighth annual Mass of Remembrance on Saturday, Nov. 3, at 11 a.m. in the Catholic section of Green Lawn Cemetery.

The Mass, which is open to all, gives Catholics an opportunity to celebrate the lives of their deceased loved ones and to remember in prayer the souls of the faithfully departed.

Each year attendance has grown as parishioners and guests who have loved ones buried at the cemetery, along with those who want to honor the memory of friends and family who are buried elsewhere, gather at the All Saints section of the Roswell cemetery for the Mass. Those who attend are given the opportunity to mention aloud their loved ones’ names, and a Litany of Remembrance will also be read.

Green Lawn Cemetery is located at 10993 Alpharetta Highway in Roswell.
