The eighth-grade boys and girls team of St. Peter Claver Regional School, Decatur, made it to the finals of the Catholic Metro League of Atlanta basketball tournament, Feb. 17. The tournament was held at Pinecrest Academy. Despite leading at halftime, the Lady Jaguars were defeated by St. Peter Chanel, Roswell, 42-33. They finished the season with a number two ranking and a 9-2 record.

The boys team defeated Christ the King, Atlanta, 45-40 in their game and were crowned 2007 tournament champions. They also finished the season 9-2.

The girls team is coached by Kelsey Simmons and the boys team by Al Lockett.
