Christmas greetings from The Georgia Bulletin

The staff of The Georgia Bulletin wishes our readers and their families a Merry Christmas.

In the photo above, featured on the Dec. 23 cover, the cast of the living Nativity of “Journey to Bethlehem” rehearsed for the production. Photographer Johnathon Kelso captured the image and others shared in the print edition.

In preparation for Christmas, the faithful encountered the Holy Family at the “Journey to Bethlehem Live Nativity and Christmas Market” Dec. 3-4 at St. Vincent de Paul Church.

In its seventh year, the Dallas parish’s outdoor production captured the true meaning of Christmas. Visitors strolled down torch-lit paths to see Mary, Joseph, Jesus, Elizabeth, Roman soldiers, the wise men, shepherds and a plethora of singing angels.

The church’s Christmas Market featured local artisans. Guests enjoyed free hot chocolate and the roasting of marshmallows as they warmed up by the fire. Children took part in games. St. Vincent de Paul also opened its Red Apron Café for hot soup and snacks.
