LILBURN—St. John Neumann School is answering Pope Francis’ charge to care for the world’s common home.

Playing in the dirt is now a part of every student’s education at St. John Neumann Regional School, Lilburn. With the help of the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia, the Captain Planet Foundation, and hard-working parent volunteers, the school recently installed a learning garden for kindergarten through eighth-grade students.

This garden will allow the students, staff, parents and the entire parish community to experience God’s bountiful gifts in the great outdoors.

St. John Neumann is bringing a greener and more engaging environmental curriculum to the school community.
