Published March 3, 2016

ROSWELL—Blessed Trinity High School freshman Mimi Drabik is one of seven girls to have been selected for a new media opportunity. With over 4 million viewers, the web video series titled SuperSevenGirls is creating a forum for high school girls to mentor younger girls.

Mimi works with the YouTube channel, where she and other teenagers post weekly videos as a series of continuing small skits. Her most recent video attracted 590,000 views in two days.

The videos appeal to girls from the ages of 5 to 12. The short skits entertain by revealing a twist to the everyday lives of these girls. “Each week we are given a theme and then we are required to create, film, edit and deliver a video,” Mimi told the Trinity Press. Mimi has filmed skits such as “Mimi’s Three Wishes!” and “Mimi’s Secret Fear of … Cake!”
