ATLANTA—The Office of Formation and Discipleship of the Archdiocese of Atlanta will welcome national speaker Matt Fradd for three presentations Jan. 30-31, 2015, on virtue and exposing the myths of pornography.

The presentations are for middle and high school teens and adults.

Fradd experienced a profound conversion at World Youth Day in Rome in 2000 and afterward committed himself to inviting others to know Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church. He speaks to 100,000 people each year and has been a guest on the BBC, EWTN, ABS and Catholic Answers Live.

Fradd is the founder of The Porn Effect, a site dedicated to exposing the reality behind the fantasy of pornography. He works for Covenant Eyes, an apostolate dedicated to protecting families from the dangers of Internet pornography.

The Friday, Jan. 30, presentation will be offered at the Cathedral of Christ the King, 2699 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, at 6:15 p.m.

On Saturday, Jan. 31, programs will be offered at St. Benedict Church, 11045 Parsons Road, Duluth, and Our Lady of Vietnam, 91 Valley Hill Road SW, Riverdale. The St. Benedict presentation begins at 1 p.m., and the Our Lady of Vietnam program starts at 7:15 p.m.

Our Lady of Vietnam will also have a multicultural Mass celebrated in English the same day, with a Vietnamese choir at 5 p.m.
After Mass, the parish will offer an authentic Vietnamese dinner at a cost of $7 per person. After dinner, Fradd will speak about “The Virtue of Chastity Is for Those Who Desire Joy.”

Registration deadline for the programs is Jan. 10, 2015. Registrations are to be handled through the parish, and those interested in attending should contact their parish youth minister.
