Five Queen of Angels School students represented Georgia in the Odyssey of the Mind World Competition. They faced 836 teams from around the world. The event took place in May at Iowa State University.

The team put their brains together to figure out how to complete a mock driver’s test.

The students relied on their work to resolve a long-term problem during the 2013-2014 school year and a spontaneous problem given to them at the competition. The team finished 20th in their category.

The Queen of Angels team included William Dyches of Milton (fifth grade), Jack Ryan of Roswell (fifth grade), Libby Erbs of Cumming (fourth grade), Josh Arneson of Marietta (third grade), Andrew Sinclair of Marietta (third grade) and Mary Foltz of Cumming (fifth grade). Coaches were Mark Hopkins of Milton and Shannon Erbs of Cumming.
