St. Joseph student wins Catholic citizenship essay contest

Olivia Nottoli was the top winner of the Knights of Columbus Council 4599 annual Catholic citizenship essay contest for 2013. This year’s topic was “Religious Liberty: The Importance of Religious Freedom.”

Olivia is an eighth-grade student at St. Joseph School in Marietta.

She will now be entered into the Knights of Columbus district competition to be held in January and the winners of the district will go on to the state competition in February.
