OLA Offers Monthly Masses For Addiction

Our Lady of the Assumption Church is beginning a new ministry for anyone who is impacted by any kind of addiction.

On the second Saturday of each month, a Mass will be celebrated for those struggling with alcoholism, other drug addictions, eating disorders, nicotine addiction, gambling addiction, prescription addiction, sexual addiction or any other difficulty with obsessions and compulsions.

This Mass is also for those impacted by others with addictions. Family members, friends and co-workers of addicts who suffer because of the disease are welcome to come and share in the Eucharistic celebration of healing and grace.

The Masses will begin at 10 a.m. The dates for the first three Masses are Oct. 13, Nov. 10 and Dec. 8. All are welcome to attend.

Our Lady of the Assumption Church is located 1350 Hearst Drive, NE, Atlanta.
