Boy Scout Helps Out The Georgia Bulletin

Published January 17, 2013

A Boy Scout appeared at The Georgia Bulletin recently and was quickly put to work.

Paul Roark earned service hours by helping to clear out what is called with affection in news-speak the “morgue.” It’s where past edition are stored so staffers can review them and extra copies can be mailed to people who missed a copy or ask for extras. In these days of digital editions, it isn’t used as often for research as in the past, but it’s still around.
