CONYERS, SEPT. 29

MONASTERY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT hosts Fall Festival 2012 at the Trappist monastery, 2625 Highway 212, SW, Conyers, with free events for all ages, families, children and adults. Events include guided nature walks and a lecture series throughout the day on the “Good Earth,” covering the historic, natural and architectural aspects of the 2,300-acre site. There will be free health screenings, pony rides, petting zoo and hay rides. The Monastic Heritage Center, Abbey Store and bonsai greenhouse will be open. Open Saturday, Sept. 29, 10 a.m.-

LITHONIA, SEPT. 29

CHRIST OUR HOPE CHURCH hosts its annual International Festival at the church, 1786 Wellborn Road, Lithonia. The “Taste of Christ Our Hope” serves up international food flavors from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29. Dishes from the Caribbean, South America, the Philippines and Africa are served alongside regional favorites from Chicago, Philadelphia, New York and Louisiana. Cost is $6.50 per person or $20 for a family of four. There will also be an international Mass on Sunday, Sept. 30, at noon and a dance on Friday, Sept. 28, at 8 p.m. Tickets to the dance are $10 each. Contact: (770) 482-5017.

WINDER, SEPT. 29

ST. MATTHEW CHURCH hosts a Craft Fair at the church, 25 Wilkins Road, SW, Winder, in Hedges Hall. Specialized vendors with unique gift items will display their wares. Crafts include hand-crocheted items, handmade jewelry, German lace table runners, dollies and ornaments, Bethlehem handcrafted religious figures, homemade candles, natural bath and body items, baby quilts, knitted hats and baby blankets, decorated flip flops, sweatshirts and jackets, paper crafts. PEACHTREE CITY, SEPT. 29-30

HOLY TRINITY CHURCH hosts its Fall Craft Bazaar at the church, 101 Walt Banks Road, Peachtree City. All items are handcrafted and represent an original style. Proceeds benefit the 2013 Catholic Heart Work Camp mission trip. Open Saturday, Sept. 29, 9 a.m.-

ST. STEPHEN THE MARTYR CHURCH hosts its 10th annual Fall Festival at the church, 5373 Wydella Road, Lilburn. There will be live entertainment, art and silent auctions, artists, crafters and vendors for all, and games, crafts, an inflatable slide, bounce house and other activities for children. Food includes award-winning BBQ, burgers, hot dogs and sides and a bake sale. Pick up something to eat later at the frozen food booth. DAWSONVILLE, OCT. 7

CHRIST THE REDEEMER CHURCH has its BBQ Festival at the church, 991 Kilough Church Road, Dawsonville. Take care of Sunday dinner and perhaps win the grand prize of a barbecue grill. ST. CATHERINE OF SIENA CHURCH Columbiettes host the third annual Sienafest Craft Fair at the church, 1618 Ben King Road, Kennesaw. More than 50 local crafters display homemade and unique creations, including candles and soaps, handmade clothing, foods and more. There is also a bake sale, used book sale and prize drawings. Breakfast and lunch are sold. Admission is free. Proceeds support charitable projects in Kennesaw and Cobb County.
